


3 slices bacon, chopped
3/4 lb. ground venison
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (16 oz) can stewed tomatoes,
undrained
Hot cooked rice
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Fry chopped bacon in large skillet until crisp; add ground venison, chopped onion, chili powder, salt, paprika, and pepper to bacon and drippings in skillet.
Cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble.
Add tomatoes to skillet; cover, reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes.
Serve over rice.
